Settlement Details
As part of the settlement agreement:
- Aboutwear, a subsidiary of Utenos Trikotažas, received €2 million in compensation from About You GmbH.
- Aboutwear transferred its controlled trademarks, including “ABOUT BALTIC UNDERWEAR” and “ABOUT THE SENSOLOGY OF WEAR,” to About You GmbH.
- Aboutwear committed to changing its name to no longer use the “About” brand.
This settlement concluded a four-year trademark dispute. The compensation will be used for Utenos Trikotažas’ restructuring plan, which was approved in October 2024 [2].
