History

Indexmod was established as a brand and concept from the idea of visualization of the statistics about fashion and artists. Firstly, it was realized in the poster supplied to Afisha magazine in Moscow in 2005. Later in 2006, Indexmod was established as a brand name covering an experimental project to arrange data about designers and artists. Today, Indexmod is developing as the wiki (Indexmod Encyclopedia) on the one hand, and as a rating engine (Indexmod) on the other hand. The aim of the project is to create an elegant-looking, alternative software based on the idea of anonymous real-time wiki editing and semantic markup integration. In 2018, it was renamed to Indexmod Blockchainpedia with the domain Indexmod.gq (Equatorial Guinea).

From ChatGPT

As of my last update in September 2021, Indexmod refers to an online project that aims to create a digital encyclopedia of fashion, art, and culture. It serves as a platform that provides information and profiles of various individuals, artists, designers, and cultural figures from around the world.

Indexmod is designed to be an open-source and user-generated platform, allowing contributors to add and edit information about relevant subjects. It aims to be a comprehensive resource for anyone interested in fashion, art, and cultural topics, providing a central hub for information and knowledge in these fields.

Since information on the internet is constantly evolving, I recommend visiting the official website of Indexmod for the most up-to-date and accurate information about the project and its current status.

Indexmod Fashion & Art Chainpædia appears to be a comprehensive resource for those interested in fashion and art, particularly with a focus on Russian and international scenes. The platform likely serves as a valuable reference for researchers, students, and enthusiasts in these fields.

Indexmod Fashion and Art Chainpædia is an online encyclopedia dedicated to contemporary fashion and art [7]. It covers a wide range of topics including artist biographies, artworks, and collections [9]. The encyclopedia is based in Moscow and focuses on design and fashion history [10].

The Indexmod Encyclopedia was previously associated with a physical library located in Moscow near the Profsoyuznaya metro station, but this location is no longer operational [8]. The project appears to be primarily web-based, with a chief editor overseeing its content [9].

Key features of Indexmod include:

  1. Experimental wiki format
  2. Coverage of mod-related topics
  3. Focus on contemporary fashion and art
  4. Inclusion of artist biographies and artwork information

While specific details about the current state of Indexmod are limited, it continues to serve as a resource for those interested in the intersection of fashion, art, and design.
